Senior officials meeting on Libya's support held in Tunis.

Tunis, 11.04.2016(Lana) Work of senior officials on international support to Libya was kicked off Tuesday in Tunis. The meeting aimed at helping the Government of National Accord (GNA) at all levels to respond to the aspirations of the Libyan people. Italian Coast Guard Rescues 2000 in the Mediterranean.

Rome, 12 April 2016(Lana) Italian coast guard announced that it had rescued 1850 migrants on Monday in separate operations in the canal that separates Italy from Libyan coasts. A statement issued by the Italian coast guard said Italian vessel Diocotte has extended assistance to two rubber dinghies carrying 740, while the navy ship Sigala Volgosi helped two other boats carrying 225 migrants.
