Tripoli, 12 November 2020(Lana) UK Embassy in Libya has condemned the assassination of Lawyer and Human Rights Activist Hanan Al Bar'asi in Benghazi on Tuesday. 'The assassination of Al Ba'asi is a mindless tragic crime, the Embassy said in a statement posted to its SMS page. The use of violence which threatens freedom of expression of all Libyans is unacceptable, it said. Participants in the Political Dialogue Agree to Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in 18 Months Time.

The Hague, 11 November 2020 (Lana) The ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda has denounced the increasing use of mines and explosive devices against civilian in Libya. In its briefing to the UN Security Council, Bensouda said; "We received credible reports about 11 mass graves in Tarhuna and verified information of the increasing use of mines and local made explosive devices against civilians. Tripoli, 11 November 2020 (Lana) The UN Representative to the UN, Ambassador Taher AlSunni warned the International Criminal Court that crimes and violations perpetrated in Libya, are not only those perpetrated during aggression on Libya. NCDC: 970 CoronaVirus Cases 732 Recoveries, 13 Deaths.

Tripoli, 11 November 2020(Lana) - The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has issued a daily CoronaVirus update in Libya for Saturday Nov.10. The NCDC said it received 4221 samples for PCR testing, 3251 have turned out to be negative and 970 positive, of which 657 new cases and 313 cross infection. The NCDC Communication Committee has said has recorded 732 recoveries and 13 deaths.
