Tripoli, 5 September 2018(Lana) The United States, Britain, France and Italy have welcomed a ceasefire declared by the warring parties in the Libyan capital on Tuesday. Tripoli, 5 September 2018(Lana) The GNA Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala is leading Libya's delegation to the Chinese e African Cooperation Forum which kicked off on Monday in Beijing. Cairo, 3 September 2018(Lana) The Pan-Arab Parliament has called for cessation of clashes in Tripoli south area. In a statement it issued on Monday the Parliament said 'we follow closely and with concern the developments in the Libyan Tripoli city, and we want to stress the need for an immediate ceasefire to save the lives of civilians.' The Parliament demanded that armed groups respect the state sovereignty and stop targeting civilians and government institutions. Tripoli, 3 September 2018(Lana) A report issued by the field hospital set up by the Wounded Affairs Department 'WAD' in Tripoli announced Sunday that the death toll from in the armed clashes in the southern areas of the capital has risen to 41, while 128 were wounded and 8 missing. The Department renewed an appeal to the Ministry of Health, and humanitarian organisations to provide assistance to the ambulance services to help transfer the wounded and stranded families out of the battle field, and to provide accommodation and supplies for the displaced people. =... Confirm Fuel Available at Depots. Tripoli, 3 September 2018(Lana) The National Oil Company NOC and the Al Breiga Oil Marketing Company have confirmed fuel was available at their depots, despite the ongoing events in the capital. This came at a joint meeting by the companies bosses designed to come up with a plan to ensure permanent fuel supply.
