French Defence Ministry: Six Gun Boats to be Delivered to Libya.

Paris, 24 February 2019(Lana) French Defence Ministry has announced that it planned to deliver 6 gun boats to Libya, to boost the capabilities of the Libyan Navy to combat illegal migration. The French 'Le Monde' newspaper quoted the weekly press conference held by the French Armies Ministry as saying the Salinger boats would be delivered in Spring. Libyan Red Crescent Deliver Aid to 42 Families in Al Gubba.

Al Gubba, 23 February 2019(Lana) The Libyan Red Crescent Relief Office said it delivered aid to 42 families which have been affected by floods in the town of Al Gubba, and who were registered at Al Ihsan Society in Ain Mara. IOM: More Than 160 Illegal Migrants Repatriated From Sebha.

Sebha, 23 February 2019(Lana) The International Organisation of Migration IOM has announced that 160 illegal migrants from Nigeria have been repatriated to their country from the southern Libyan city of Sebha. The repatriation process was part of voluntary repatriation program IOM is running with support from the EU Credit Fund, IOM said in statements posted to its website. In May, the UN High Commission for Refugees has estimated that the number of refugees and asylum seekers held at official sites in Libya has reached 5700 of which 2367 cared for by IOM. =...
