FAO: Libya in Need of Food Assistance Because of Conflict and Refugees.

Tripoli, 22 September 2019(Lana) The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation FAO has disclosed that Libya still needed food assistance because of the ongoing conflict and refugees from neighbouring countries. Conflict is the main cause of the high level of food insecurity, said a report issued by FAO, which also cited bad weather conditions including dwindling rain fall as reasons for food insecurity for millions.
