NOC Declares 'Force Major' in 11 Oil Fields.

Tripoli, 5 March 2015(Lana) The National Oil Company yesterday declared the state of 'force major' at 11 oil fields, following attacks against the fields as the security situation deteriorated in the country. In a statement, the company said 'as a result of the serious events which are escalating by the day, targeting the resources of the Libyan people by stealing and destroying the oil fields, the National Oil Company is obliged to declare, and urgently, the state of 'force major' at a number of fields.' 'We strongly condemn the violent acts perpetrated in Libya by all parties, said Natalia Abustolova, Chairwoman of the EU mission in Libya in press statements.
