EU hosts Libya dialogue comprising mayors and local leaders.

Brussels, 23.03.2015(Lana) The Belgian capital Brussels was to host Monday a Libya dialogue in which 24 mayors and local leaders from various Libyan regions are to take part. Italian news agency Aki said the dialogue sponsored by the UN envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon was attended by the EU High Representative for Security and External Relations, Federica Mogerini. The EU is promoting parallel activities to the dialogue underway in Morocco which is supposed to produce government of national unity. Studies at Serte University still suspended.

Serte, 23.03.2015 (Lana) President of Serte University, underlined Monday continuing suspension of the university due to the situation in the city. President of Serte University, Dr Musa Mohamed Musa told Lana that lectures at the university suspended for the second week running due to the security tension in the area. He explained that students already lost two week from the Spring semester. Rabat, 23 March 2015(Lana) UN Special Envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon has voiced his concern over the military escalation in the country, and urged all parties to the conflict to accelerate the talks, being held in Morocco to reach a political agreement.
