Tripoli : 19. 8. 2015 - Lana - National Commission for Human Rights has warned against any foreign military intervention in Libya under pretext of facing extremism and terrorism . In a statement issued today, the commission considered any military intervention to fight extremism in Libya would not be useful and it would escalate chaos and deepens differences and division .... Tripoli, 19 August 2105(Lana) The Mayer of Tripoli Central, Al Mehdi Al Harati has dismissed media reports that he was sacked from his post. In an exclusive statement to the Libyan news agency on Wednesday, Al Harati said no decision has been made by the Ministry of Local Governemnt of the National Salvation Governemnt for his dismissal, neither by members of the municipal council of Tripoli. Oil Prices Steady But Oversupply Remains a Concern.

London, 19 August 2015(Lana) Oil prices steadied on Wednesday, consolidating after a six week rout driven by global oversupply and concerns about falling demand in Asian economies and the United States. US crude oil futures were down 20 cents to $42.42 a barrel at 0925 GMT. The front month, September, US contract expires on Thursday. Brent crude was down 10 cents to $48.71 a barrel.
