Geneva, 29.09.2015(Lana) United Nations High Commission for Refugees announced in figures released Tuesday that over half million migrant reached Europe in 2015 across the Mediterranean. The UN Commission said about 515,000 migrants crossed the Mediterranean, of which 383,000 reached Greece, and 129,000 to Italy. It explained that 54% of the refugees were Syrians and 13% were Afghans. Tripoli, 29.09.2015(Lana) A team of Red Crescent volunteers distributed humanitarian aid to children inpatients in Oncology Dept. and ICU at Tripoli Medical Centre (TMC). Red Crescent sources said the humanitarian aid included clothes, shoes, blankets, medical supplies, napkins and detergents. Misrata, 29.09.2015(Lana) Mayor of Misrata, Mohamed Shatiwi paid a visit to the Turkish Consulate in Misrata against the backdrop of an attempt to confuse the consular work following the recent measures taken by the Turkish government imposing a visa on Libyans. The mayor inspected with the Turkish Consular developments around the consulate after an anonymous assailant threw a sound bomb at street near the consulate without causing any damages.
