Ghadamis, 27 September 2015(Lana) An exhibition of old photos was opened yesterday in the city of Ghadamis under the patronage of the Culture and Civil Society Bureau, The exhibition held under the theme 'Ghadamis in pictures' was promoted by cultural and civilization enthusiasts from the city of Ghadamis. The exhibition aims to portray the cultural history of the city across the generations, and as Lana correspondent said it attracted large number of visitors who said they were impressed by the photos which portray the heritage of the city. =... Four Libyan Pilgrims Among the Dead in Mina Stampede.

Tripoli, 27 September 2015(Lana) The Libyan Pilgrimage mission has announced that 4 Libyan pilgrims have died in the stampede which happened at Mina close to the holy city of Makkah. The Head of the pilgrims mission Gibrael Agila said they have discovered one man and a woman at the emergency hospital out of 18 missing in the stampede. According to official figures the death toll from the stampede which took place as pilgrims performed rituals in Mina has risen to 717 while 863 were wounded in the worst incident at the holy shrines in 25 years. =... New York, 27 September 2015(Lana) Libya has been placed on the agenda of the UN General Assembly 70th session which urged parties to the conflict to sign the peace agreement to form a national government. Also on the agenda of the UN session several other issues including combating terrorism and the situation in the Middle East and North Africa. Tripoli, 26.09.2015 - (Lana) - On Friday the UNSMIL president 'Bernardino Leon' , on the occasion of Eid al-Udha , appealed to all parties in Libya to release those who are still been detained against the law , so they can go back to their families , and enjoy the Eid celebrations.
