HNEC Announces New Provisional Results of Elections

\nTripoli, 24 February 2014 (LANA) The High National Election Commission announced new results from the Constituent Authority of the Constitution elections of some constituencies.\n The results involved were of Sirte, Tripoli, Al Zawiya, Obari, Ghadamis, Greater Benghazi and Ajdabiya including two seats for women and one for the Tuareg.\n The Commission said the results were provisional and reflected the entry of more than 70% of votes from every constituency declared, and added that initial results would be declared when all results of the provisional results were entered.\n ... Wednesday Day for Laying Foundation Stone of National Stadium

Tunisian Ambassador Inspects Consulate in Benghazi

Benghazi, 24 February 2014(LANA) Tunisian Ambassador Redha Abu Kadi on Sunday paid a visit to the Tunisian Consulate in Benghazi which was target of a rocket which landed near it.\n LANA correspondent reported that the Ambassador had a meeting with the staff of the consulate, who said the incident would not deter them from pursuing their work at the consulate.\n The Ambassador said in statement to LANA the attack on the Consulate would not impact the historical relations between Libya and Tunisia, saying authorities in both countries were working together to strengthen ties and upgrade... Armed group kidnaps three Bengali labourers from Benghazi
