With the UN support: The Libyan Relief Authority provides shelter assistance to migrants in Benghazi.

Benghazi, February 4, 2025 (LANA) - The Libyan Relief Authority, in cooperation with the Illegal Immigration Agency and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, provided new shelter assistance to migrants at the Ganfouda Shelter Center in Benghazi today, Tuesday.
The official spokesman for the Authority, Muhammad Al-Warfali, stated in a statement to the Libyan Al-Anbaa newspaper that the operations teams affiliated with the Authority distributed aid to 259 migrants of different nationalities, indicating that the aid included providing mattresses and blankets, and personal care and hygiene packages for men and women, in addition to children's basic needs.
Al-Warfali explained that the Authority is continuously working to implement humanitarian initiatives in cooperation with local and international bodies to alleviate the suffering of migrants and improve their living conditions in shelters, noting that this aid was distributed in the presence of representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, within the framework of the ongoing partnership between the Authority and the Commission to achieve common humanitarian goals.
Al-Warfali added that the Authority continues to provide humanitarian support to illegal migrants in cooperation with local and international partners, within the framework of improving the living conditions of migrants and reducing their suffering.
