Minister of Tourism discusses cooperation in the field of tourism and traditional industries with the Pakistani ambassador.

Tripoli, August 07, 2024 (LANA) - Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries in the Government of National Unity "Nasr al-Din al-Fazani" met yesterday, Tuesday, with the Pakistani Ambassador to Libya, Anjum Inayat, to discuss enhancing communication between the Ministries of Tourism in the two countries, and mechanisms for cooperation in the field of tourism investment.

"Al-Fazani" stressed during the meeting, which was attended by the representative of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the importance of providing opportunities for investors and businessmen in the two countries to benefit from promising investment opportunities in the field of tourism and traditional industries, and organizing joint programs and benefiting from Pakistan's pioneering experience, especially in the field of traditional industries and handicrafts.

In turn, the Ambassador of the Republic of Pakistan praised the role of the Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries in enhancing cooperation between the two countries, considering tourism a tool for communication and cultural rapprochement, and carries a message of hope and peace between peoples and societies, expressing his welcome to the initiatives aimed at supporting tourism in the two friendly countries.
