Port Louis, 12 June 2024 (Lana) The Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) joined the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF) as a permanent member during the 3rd annual meeting of the ASIF held in Mauritius under the slogan “Sustainable Development: Driving Transformations, Catalyzing Opportunities, and Creating Impact.”

The annual meeting is an opportunity for ASIF's members to gather, discuss strategic directions and initiatives, and exchange experiences and issues of common interest to sovereign funds in Africa.

It's worth mentioning that ASIF was established in 2022 as a pioneering platform to bring together sovereign funds and investors at the region level in order to strengthen cooperation and exchange of knowledge to accelerate the increase of capital for inclusive and sustainable development on the continent.
