Tripoli, June 12, 2024 (Lana): Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Organization Affairs at the Ministry of Local Government, Shadia Oraibi, yesterday, during a coordinated meeting held with a team of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Libya, discussed aspects of cooperation in areas of providing support to affected municipalities and individuals, providing livelihoods and job opportunities, developing skills, and building capacities.

The discussion focused on various projects, including maintenance projects for damaged buildings in the municipalities of southern Tripoli and primary health care centers.

The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in areas of support and empower women, in addition to reviewing the future plans of the council and mechanisms for implementing several projects to maintain and develop the institutions and centers affected by the war as part of the council's annual plan in Libya.

The two sides agreed to work on concluding a memorandum of understanding between the two parties for cooperation in the area of development and support, provided that coordination and cooperation with the technical departments of the ministry are at the highest levels in the various stages of joint work.
