Tripoli, June 10, 2024 (Lana): Acting Head of UNSMIL, Stephanie Koury, held a meeting a meeting yesterday at UNSMIL's headquarters in Tripoli with members of the Amazigh Supreme Council in Libya.

"I listened to their concerns about fair representation and meaningful participation in the political process and decision-making, as well as addressing the population's development needs. We also reviewed the situation at Ras Ajdir crossing, stressing the importance of pursuing a peaceful resolution.," koury said in a tweet.

"I reaffirmed UNSMIL's commitment to helping Libyans launch a comprehensive process to end the political deadlock and achieve sustainable peace and stability," she added.
