Geneva, June 8, 2024 (Lana) Libya was elected as an original member of the Board of Directors of the International Labor Organization (ILO), representing the African continent for the period from 2024 to 2027.

This came within the work of the meetings of the International Labor Conference in its 112th session, which was held in Geneva, where voting was held electronically to select members, and Libya obtained 195 votes.
