Criminal Investigations arrested a gang engaged in forging bank seals and checks.

Tripoli, May 04, 2024 (LANA) - Members of the Criminal Investigation Service were able to arrest a gang that was adopting fraudulent methods by forging official and financial seals and documents.
The agency said in a statement that the gang, which consists of five people, specializes in forging tax certificates, academic graduation certificates, and certified checks in the name of several commercial banks.
The agency confirmed that all those involved were referred to the Anti-Corruption Prosecution to complete the rest of the legal procedures.
