Two security personal were arrested for shooting a firearm and tampering with a police vehicle.

Tripoli, April 19, 2024 (LANA) - The Ministry of the Interior of the National Unity Government announced today, Friday, the arrest of two people from a police station who fired a firearm and tampered with driving a motor vehicle belonging to the station.

It added that, the arrest took place after social media circulated a clip of two people from a police station shooting a firearm and tampering with driving a motorized vehicle belonging to the station they were affiliated with.

The ministry indicated that instructions were issued to seize the two elements who appeared in the video clip, as they were seized by the General Administration of Inspection and Follow-up and brought to the administration’s headquarters in Tripoli, and investigations were initiated against them and legal measures were taken against them.
