Al-Dabaiba signs with the Turkish Minister of Defense a memorandum of understanding on military fields.

Antalya, March 1, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, signed today, Friday, during his meeting with the Turkish Minister of National Defense, Yaşar Guler, in the Turkish city of Antalya, a memorandum of understanding on military fields and raising the efficiency of Libyan army units through specific training programs.

The media office of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government stated that “Al-Dabaiba” stressed during the meeting, which came to follow up aspects of military cooperation between the two countries, that developing cooperation between the Chief of General Staff and the Turkish Ministry of Defense is a priority and of great importance, as well as implementing advanced training programs to raise the efficiency of Libyan army personnel.

  For his part, Turkish Defense Minister Guler praised the cooperation between his country and the unity government in the military and security field, stressing the continuation of this coordination and cooperation between the two sides.

  He pointed out that he is witnessing progress and organization in all aspects.
