Benghazi hosts the Libyan-Egyptian Trade Forum.

Benghazi, 25 February 2024 (Lana) Benghazi hosted the Libyan-Egyptian Trade Forum yesterday under the slogan (Supporting and Strengthening Joint Commercial Cooperation, sponsored by the Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, the Export Council for Egyptian Engineering Industries, and Emaar Libya Holding Company.

The forum was attended by the Chairman of the Economic Committee of the House of Representatives, Badr Al-Naheeb, the Egyptian Consul in Benghazi, Ahmed Al-Hamshir, the Director of Project Management at the Ministry of Investment, Abeer Al-Awami, the General Manager of the Emaar Libya Holding Company, Abdul Rahman Al-Zawawi, and a number of directors of economic institutions and businessmen in the two countries.

The forum aims to strengthen trade exchange between the two countries and exchange trade and economic experiences between Libyan and Egyptian businessmen.

The forum included presentations of some participating Egyptian companies, about 52 companies in several areas.

The head of the forum’s preparatory committee, Salah Al-Amrouni, said in a statement to the Libyan News Newspaper that the chamber will organize, on the sidelines of the forum’s work, a field tour in Benghazi for directors of economic institutions and Egyptian businessmen to inform them of the commercial and economic activity in the city.
