Tripoli, February 18, 2024 (LANA) - Libya extended its congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on assuming the presidency of the African Union as a representative of the Nordic region for the year 2024.

  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation affirmed its wishes to Mauritania for success during its assumption of this position, in a way that strengthens the bonds of cooperation and common interest within the frameworks and structures of the African Union.
