Takala discusses, in Morocco, ways to resolve the political impasse in Libya according to the outcomes of the Abu Znika Agreement.

Rabat, December 8, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, discussed in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, yesterday, Thursday, with the Moroccan Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita, the latest developments in the political situation in Libya, especially the elections file, and work to find solutions to the political impasse in accordance with the outcomes of the Abu Znika Agreement.
This came during a meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of members of the High Council of State, Shukri Al-Maghribi and Muhammad Abdel-Aali.
The Council's media office explained that the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields.
The media office added that “Takala” expressed its thanks for Morocco’s efforts in bringing viewpoints closer between the Libyan parties and its previous role in hosting the Libyan dialogues.
The media office indicated that Takala and Bourita held a press conference after the meeting to discuss what was discussed during the meeting.
