The Ministry of Interior signs with UNICEF the training plan for the year 2024 to train members of child and family protection offices.

Tripoli, December 3, 2023 (LANA) - The Ministry of the Interior of the Government of National Unity signed today, Sunday, with the UNICEF Children’s Fund, the training plan concerned with developing and training members of the Ministry’s Children and Family Offices for the year 2024, the implementation of which is supervised by UNICEF.

The plan was signed between the Director of the Office of the Minister of Interior, Major General Abdel Wahed Abdel Samad, and representatives of UNICEF in Libya, in the presence of members of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation and the Office of the Minister of Interior.

The two sides discussed a number of topics related to cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and UNICEF in the fields of child and family protection and the implementation of training programs that contribute to developing and strengthening the capabilities of the concerned authorities in this field in the Ministry of Interior.
