Libyan-Tunisian cooperation in building and developing youth.

Tripoli, December 3, 2023 (Lana) Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Youth Hostels Association, Al-Shaibani Abdullah, and the Director-General of Youth at the Tunisian Ministry of Youth and Sports, Anwar Issa, discussed bilateral cooperation in the area of youth hostel work in the two countries and the exchange of expertise in the two institutions.

During the meeting held yesterday at the Youth Hostels’ headquarters in Tripoli, Al-Shaibani presented an overview of the role of the Libyan youth hostels, their plans for the coming years, and their role in supporting and empowering youth in public affairs and preparing young leaders.

Al-Shaibani referred to the strategies that the Board of Directors of the Association worked to activate the role of youth in containing other youth, emphasizing the role of youth hostels in this aspect.

For his part, Issa reviewed the experience of youth hostels in Tunisia and the possibility of benefiting from it, expanding areas of cooperation and coordination in exchanging visits and benefiting from experiences between the two youth institutions.
