Tripoli, November 26, 2023 (LANA) - Representative in the Presidential Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi,” discussed Monday morning with the Tunisian ambassador to Libya, “Al-Asaad Al-Ajili,” developments in the political scene in Libya and bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting, which was held between them at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli, discussed a number of regional issues, most notably the Palestinian issue and its recent developments, and work to coordinate common positions.
During the meeting, Al-Lafi affirmed his support and follow-up of aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries, including the work of the Libyan-Tunisian Joint Higher Committee.
For his part, the Tunisian ambassador renewed his country's support for the political solution efforts led by the Presidential Council in Libya, especially with regard to the national reconciliation project, which is considered one of the most important factors for stability in the country.
