ABC Bank Group supports relief for those affected by floods in Libya.

Manama, September 17, 2023 (Lana): ABC Bank Group announced that it will provide 2 million dollars to support humanitarian and relief efforts in Libya following the massive floods and torrents caused by Hurricane Daniel, and the funds will be allocated to support national and international relief efforts with the aim of helping those affected by the violent floods that struck Eastern Libya recently.

Bank ABC Group CEO, Sael Al-Waari, said: "All Bank ABC Group employees express their deep sorrow for the loss of life and the suffering caused by the floods and torrential torrents.

"I would like to offer my deepest condolences and sympathy to our dear colleagues, our customers and their families, our shareholders, the families of the victims, and all those affected by this disaster. We stand in solidarity with the people of Libya in facing this humanitarian crisis in this exceptionally difficult circumstance, and we hope that our assistance will contribute to accelerating relief and rescue efforts in Libya," he added.

"Our rapid response to such sudden humanitarian disasters comes from our societal responsibility and our duty to support disaster recovery efforts and rebuild our societies," he added.
