Tripoli, March 16, 2023 (LANA) - Libya's permanent representative to the United Nations, "Taher Al-Sunni," expressed his country's pride that it was among the countries that worked to sponsor the resolution identifying March 15 of each year as the International Day for "Combating Islamophobia’.
Al-Sunni added, in a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account, “This decision calls for the promotion of tolerance, peace, and human rights, and urges an end to violence and hate speech against Muslims all over the world.”
