Al-Marj Teaching Hospital performs 30 orthopedic surgeries per month.

Al-Marj, March 15, 2023 (LANA) - Twelve surgeries were performed in the Department of Orthopedics at Al-Marj Teaching Hospital during the past week. 

The operations, ranging from major and minor operations, for cases such as fixation of fractures and repair of tendons, in addition to accidents and surgeries for cases of gunshot wounds.

The Director of the Information and Awareness Office at Al-Marj Teaching Hospital, Mabrouka Saleh, stated in a press statement that the total number of operations that were performed in the hospital during the month of February amounted to (30) surgeries, with an average of (7) weekly operations and (8) urgent monthly operations, despite the lack of resources.

This represents a significant addition to the medical service provided by the hospital, as it contributes to reducing surgery waiting lists.
