Tripoli 26 January 2023 (Lana) Designated Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu-Janah, discussed with representatives of Italian company "Programa Pente" activating an agreement to establish a station for the safe disposal of medical waste according to international specifications and contracted since 2013.

Abu-Janah, after the meeting, issued his instruction to assign the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Medical Centers Affairs, Tawfiq Al-Darsi, to head a follow-up and supervision committee to activate the agreement, provided that the committee submits its report urgently, according to the SMS page of the Ministry.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Medical Centers Affairs, the Director of the Pharmacy and Medical Supplies Department, the Head of the Medical Waste Department, and the Director of the Legal Department at the Ministry of Health.
