Algeria's foreign minister stresses need to unite efforts to hold Libyan elections in 2023.

Tripoli, 25 January, 2023 (LANA) - The United Nations Secretary-General's envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathiyi, stressed the need to unite efforts at regional and international levels to achieve the necessary and required settlement for holding elections in 2023, and putting Libya on the path to sustainable stability and peace. 

   This came during his meeting with the Algerian Foreign Minister, Ramtane Lamamra, Tuesday in Algiers, during which he discussed the Libyan crisis and ways to get out of it, stressing in a tweet he posted on his Twitter account the importance of Algeria's continued support for the efforts of the United Nations in this regard, as it is one of the neighboring countries, and a member of the League.
