Al-Mnfi expresses appreciation for Tunisia's positive role in Libyan issue.

Tripoli, 23 January, 2023 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnfi, has praised the depth of the historical relations between Libya and Tunisia, and the ties of brotherhood and common destiny that unite the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, expressing his appreciation for Tunisia's positive role towards the Libyan issue.

This came during his meeting, Monday, with the Tunisian Foreign Minister, Othman Al-Jarandi, who conveyed the greetings of the Tunisian President, Kais Said.

  The media office of the Presidential Council stated that the Tunisian Foreign Minister appreciated, during the meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Mangoush, the important role of the Presidential Council and its adoption of the national reconciliation project, as a nucleus to heal the rift, gather the parties and reunite the Libyans, stressing that the Republic of Tunisia supports all initiatives to get Libya out of the political impasse and reaching the elections as soon as possible, and that Tunisia is keen to enhance the stability of Libya and its return to exercising its natural role in the region.
