Tripoli, January 22, 2023 (LANA) - Representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met this evening, Sunday, in the capital, Tripoli, with Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, who participated in the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers.

The media office of the Presidential Council stated that the meeting discussed the most important political developments in the country, and ways to advance the political process, by emphasizing the holding of electoral benefits.

He said that the Qatari minister, "Sultan bin Saad," praised the role of the Presidential Council in the success of the national reconciliation project, stressing that the success of the preparatory forum for the inclusive conference had positive international repercussions, wishing to continue these steps that bring together all political spectrums in one place inside Libya.

In turn - according to the same source, "Al-Lafi" affirmed the Presidency Council's keenness to make the electoral process a success, appreciating the efforts of the State of Qatar in supporting the political process in Libya.
