Celebration in Tripoli on the occasion of the International Day for the Rights of Children.

 Tripoli, 22 November 2022 (Lana) The High Commission for Scouts and Guides, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, held a celebration today in Tripoli in celebration of the International Children's Day, which falls on November 20 of each year, in the presence of the GNU Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Mabrouka Toghi.

 The celebration, which was attended by the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Palestine in Libya, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for Theater and Arts Affairs Abdul Basit Abu Ginda, a number of civil society institutions and those interested in children's rights, leaders and scout teams, included the presentation of a number of artistic and lyrical performances and a set of dialogue paragraphs presented by the children, in expression of their optimism for the future.

During the ceremony, GNU Minister Mabrouka Toghi stressed keenness of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development to pay attention to children in cooperation with all public institutions and civil society organisations in issues related to spreading and establishing a culture of children's rights, and announced the establishment of the Children's Parliament to listen to the voices and opinions of children, the child Revan Ahmed was honored for her participation in the Climate Summit in Egypt.
