New York, 20 September 2022 (Lana) GNU Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najla Al-Manqoush met  US Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs Barbara I Leaf, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

According to the Ministry's SMS Page ,the two sides discussed strategic relation between the two friendly countries and joint efforts to enhance stability in Libya. The US official reiterated her country's support for the international position in support of national elections ,as the only solution for the political crisis to achieve the aspirations of Libyan people.
