  New York, 20 September 2022 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Al Mnefi, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Mangoush, on Monday inaugurated the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers participating in the works of the United Nations General Assembly, at the headquarters of the Libyan Mission in New York. According to the Presidential Council Communication Office, Al Mnefi stressed, in the opening remarks the need to strengthen mechanisms of joint action and coordinate Arab positions on the most pressing issues in the region.

 For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity said on its official website that the meeting discussed coordination process on the most important topics on the agenda of the current session of the General Assembly, to ensure support for Arab issues, especially the Palestinian cause.
