Tripoli, August 13, 2022 (LANA) - The Department of Combating Settlement and Illegal Immigration of the Stabilization Support Agency managed to rescue a number of illegal immigrants of different nationalities off the Libyan coast, west of the capital, Tripoli.
The agency's media office reported that the migrants were immediately transferred to the sanatorium of the agency's shelter center to receive the necessary first aid and treatment.
The Stabilization Support Agency reiterated its firm stance against human smuggling gangs and curbing the phenomenon of illegal immigration.
