Ministry of Finance: Pay increase of 20% has been postponed until budget is approved.

Tripoli, 17 February, 2021 (Lana) - The Ministry of Finance of the Government of National Accord confirmed that the Presidential Council decided to postpone the payment of the salary increase of public administrative units by 20%, according to the ministry's statement.  

The Ministry stated in its statement Wednesday, that the Presidential Council decided to postpone the payment of the increase determined according to its Resolution No. 15/ 2020 regarding a 20% increase of salaries of employees in public administrative units, until the approval of the general budget for 2021.

 The ministry will disburse this increase as of January 1, upon completion of the financial arrangements for the current year.
