Tripoli; 12.04.2016(Lana) Deputy President of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maitiq said; "The Council discussed with the Italian foreign minister implementing the political accord and support rendered by Italian from the outset of the political dialogue. At the press conference, he held with the Italian Foreign Minister, Tuesday in Tripoli, Maitiq said; 'by entry of the Presidential Council into Tripoli City we have transcended the first phase of the political accord'. 'We discussed with the Italian foreign minister Libya's support conference to be held in Rome early May' he said. Maitiq said relations between the Libyan and Italian peoples proved throughout the past period it was not confined to a specific political stage and it is a relationship with special characteristics that link the two friendly peoples'. Maitiq said the next period will witness Libyan - Italian cooperation as Libyan-Italian Friendship agreement would be activated besides a host of other agreements related to visa and facilitating entry of Libyans into Italy and opening of airspace between Libya and Europe via Italy, in addition to several projects in oil and gas, economy and culture. =Lana=
