Work at Zeltin oil field halted due to Daesh attack fears.

Tripoli, 11.04.2016(Lana) Workers at Zeltin oil Field owned by
Serte Company for Oil and Gas Production have decided to go on
general strike due to deteriorating security situation in the field
and fears of imminent attacks could be launched by Daesh.
In a statement Monday, the workers said they evacuated the oil
field and decided to halt work due to bad security deterioration at
oil field basin in Marada- Zala basin in serte.
Due to presence of vehicles hoisting Daesh flag in the area, they
decided to halt work and return home until security is provided, the
statement said.
The staff decided to set up a crisis committee and halt
production operations, calling on the oil field management to provide
a protection force to the oil field, the statement added.
