Turkish Prime Minister Holds Meeting With Candidate to the Head of Consensus Governemnt in Ankara.

Ankara, 12 January 2016(Lana) Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet
Davutoglu met in Ankara on Monday Fayez Al Saraj the candidate to the
national consensus government who is on a visit to Turkey.
According to the Turkish news agency Davutoglu said 'Turkey
stands on the side of the Libya, and supports any move that could
lead to its stability and integrity.'
On his part Al Saraj expressed his appreciation of the role that
Turkey played in support of the national dialogue, and said, 'we
thank Turkey for treating Libyans wounded in terrorist attacks.' He
also highlighted the close political, trade and economic ties linking
the two countries .
The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also held a meeting
with Al Saraj and the accompanying delegation according to a
statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The statement said the Turkish side was ready to offer assistance
to Libyan in all areas, and stressed the need to set up a national
consensus government in Libya.
The Libyan parties have signed on Dec 15 an agreement that calls
for establishment of a national unity government to be chaired led by
Fayez Al Saraj within a month from the date of signature.
