Italy Hosts International Conference on Libya on Sunday.

Rome, 13 December 2015(Lana) Italy is hosting an international conference on Libya on Sunday, scheduled to be attended by several regional countries and major powers representatives, in addition to the UN, EU, and the Arab League in an attempt to wrap up the months-long legislative crisis in the country. Representatives of the Libyan [parties to the conflict namely the General National Congress and the House of Representatives will take part in the meeting along with delegates from the US, Russia, Egypt, UAE, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. A statement by the Italian Foreign Ministry said a news conference would be held at the end of the conference by the Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentelone, his American counterpart John Kerry and the UN Special Envoy to Libya Martin Kobler. =Lana=
