OIC Welcomes Declaration of Principles to Resolve Libyan Crisis.

Jeddah, 9 December 2015(Lana) The Organisation of Islamic
Cooperation has welcomed the declaration of principles agreement
signed by the GNC and the House of Representatives in Tunisia on
Sunday.
Ina statement on Tuesday, the OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani
urged the Libyan parties to endorse the agreement which he said
provided a base for resolving the crisis and rebuilding the state
institutions and paved the way for a smooth transition to full
democratic rule which will ensure stability and protect Libya from
terrorism.
Madani said OIC was prepared to contribute to the regional and
international effort help Libya restore peace and stability and
achieve prosperity.
