Italian foreign minister: Rome summit is to speed-up reaching an agreement among Libyan rivals.

Rome, 05.12.2015 - (Lana) - The Italian foreign minister 'Paolo
Gentiloni' , asserted that the Rome summit , which is scheduled to be
held on the 13th of this December , about the Libyan crisis , aims to
speed-up reaching an agreement among the Libyan rivals , stressing
that the forming of a national unity government is up to the Libyan
parties.
Gentiloni , on Friday added , "we want to give a very strong push to
face the danger of Da'ash spreading in the Libyan territories , and
after that there will be a UN decision goes with the stability in the
country , as for the group meeting in Rome , they can contribute ,
but the UN is the one which will give the order within an
international framework".
The Italian minister , expected that representatives of 15 - 20
countries will attend the summit , including the permanent members of
the security council , the main European countries and other
countries in the region , as well as the UN envoy to Libya 'Martin
Kobler'.
Also its expected to attend this summit , the Russian foreign
minister 'Sergey Lavrov' , and his American counterpart 'John Kerry'.
