Italy intends to convene a summit to discuss Libyan crisis.

Rome, 03.12.2015(Lana) Italy intends to organize a ministerial summit
on December 13, in a bid to find a solution to the Libyan crisis with
the participation of several countries of the world and neighboring
countries.
Italian Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni said at the parliamentary
session Thursday that Italy is working for a summit that would
include several countries including neighboring ones to Libya, he
said current contacts could contribute to addressing Libyan crisis.
He added that it should focus on removing obstacles that may hinder
reaching an accord and shaping a working formula and a road map.

Gentiloni announced Wednesday that the international talks on Libya
future to be hosted by Rome would be on the lines of Vienna round
table to comprise permanent members of the UN Security Council,
European countries, besides 6 to 8 countries neighboring Libya.
Gentiloni said peace in Libya must be an outcome of decisions by
Libyan parties, but time is not indefinite and that the international
community can gave a decisive push to dialogue among Libyan rivals.
he said we do not want to replace Libyans but remove external
obstacles that up to now hampered an agreement among Libyans on a
national consensus government, , we want to determine framework or
road map and this is the aim of the summit.
Algeria hosted Tuesday the 7th neighboring countries meeting with the
participation of 6 countries ( Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan, Niger,
Chad and the UN envoy to Libya, and representatives for the African
Union, Arab League, and the EU.
