Algeria, 29.10.2015(Lana) Algerian Foreign Minister, Ramthan
Lamamra expressed his country's hope that efforts designed to find
solution to Libya crisis be continued even if using another formula
under UN auspices.
In a statement to the French newspaper Le Monde Lamamra said even
if the Leon mission would end without reaching a final agreement, we
hope there would be no vacuum and efforts be continued and indeed be
concerted even if in another form but always under UN auspices.
He said the situation if continued in the absence of the agreement
it would be dangerous for the Libyan people and their neighbors such
as Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan, Chad, Niger, and Algeria'.
Lamamar said Algeria role is pivotal in peace efforts in Libya,
adding that Algeria talks to all parties with the exception of the
terrorist groups referring to Algeria capacity to bring together all
sides and listen.
Lamamara said Libyans so often came secretly and at other times
officially to Algeria and that Algeria does not intervene in their
affairs and wanted to be part of the solution and this message is
understood by all Libyan forces.
