Italian Coast Guard save one thousand immigrants off Libyan coast.

Rome, 29.10.2015(Lana) Italian Coast Guard announced that it took
part in the saving of one-thousand immigrants off the Libyan coast,
who were on board a boat.
The coast guard which is coordinating the rescue operation in the
Mediterranean said the immigrants were on board six rubber and one
wooden boats and were rescued by Italian, British, German and
Slovenian warships working under EU operation called "Sofia" to fight
human traffickers.
The immigrants were carried on two ships on Italian and another
Norwegian working under EU task to control European borders. and that
the immigrants were on their way to the Italian coast.
