Martin Kobler , the new UN envoy to Libya.

Tripoli, 29.10.2015 - (Lana) - The UNSG 'Ban Ki-Moon' , had appointed
the German diplomat 'Martin Kobler' , as a new UN envoy to Libya ,
successor to 'Bernardino Leon' , who did not succeed in convincing
the conflicting parties in Libya , to reach a final peace accord.
Ki-Moon , told the security council of this appointment last night ,
which has till Friday to object on this , and will be announced
officially after that.
Its noteworthy , that the 62 years old 'Kobler' , was an ambassador
to both Iraq and Egypt , and he is heading the UN mission in Congo
since two years now.
