Tripoli, 21.09.2015(Lana) National Salvation Government asked
the GNC to make clear its stance vis-a-vis the Sukhirat negotiations
and to allow it to retailiate militarily in case the military
escalation in Benghazi is increased.
In a statement NSG considered escalation in the city reflecting
what it described as confusion in the political stance of the
dissolved Tobrouk parliament and failure of its forces to make any
victory in Benghazi.
The government noted that the escalation in Benghazi threatens to
torpedo the political dialogue and that it does not serve the
interests of the Libyan people. It stressed that it would endeavours
to double its support to Benghazi revolutionaries in what it
described as the blood thirsty bandits.
NSG denounced in a statement the military escalation in Benghazi
city carried out by the armed gangs led by what it called Chad war
criminal Khalifa Hafter and adopted by the dissolved parliament in
Tobrouk, according to the NSG statement.
