UNSMIL confirms that amended political agreement to be presented to Libyan parties.

Tripoli, 20.09.2015(Lana) United Nations Support Mission in Libya
(UNSMIL) has announced that it began drafting an amended political
accord to be presented to the Libyan parties besides proposing names
of government of national unity in preparation for putting it to a
vote.
In press statement, Sunday, UNSMIL spokesman, Samir Ghattas, said
the UN is preparing a written agreement for a political accord
besides the names of the government of national unity to be presented
to the parties for a vote.
The dissolved House of Representatives rejected last Wednesday
amendments made to the political accord that was initialized last
July and announced withdrawal from the UN sponsored negotiations.
Head of UNSMIL, Bernardino Leon announced that September 20, would
be a date for reaching a final agreement among the parties to the
Libyan dispute, forming a government of national unity and getting
out of the political crisis.
